Quake rocks Shamakhi

An earthquake hit Azerbaijan's Shamakhi region.

The earthquake was recorded on August 1, at 10:21, in 11 kilometers to the south from Pirgulu,the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences reported.

The earthquake in Shamakhi was felt in the force of up to 3 points. The magnitude of the earthquake, that broke out at 6 kilometers depth amounted to 3.10 points.

No damages have been reported.
