1500 new buses planned to be brought to Azerbaijan

1500 new passenger buses will be brought to Azerbaijan in the next years. The buses are planned to be fetched until the I European Games which is going to be held in Azerbaijan.
 
Press-service chief of the Transport Ministry Namig Hasanov told the renewal of the bus park in Azerbaijan is being carried out simultaneously with the application of online-payment system to transport.
 
According to N.Hasanov buses will be imported from Turkey and South Korea. “The main principle of ours is to provide comfort and security for passengers” he said.
 
Recall that during January-June of the running year 340 new passenger buses have been brought. 3 471 large and medium sized buses were imported to Azerbaijan over the last 5 years.

Furthermore, 2000 ‘London cabs’ are envisaged to be brought to the country in the next 2 years.
