Japanese firms interested in broadening co-op with Azerbaijan on seismology

Leading Japanese companies dealing with seismology and engineering seismology have expressed their keenness to further expand relationship with Azerbaijan.

In a meeting with Gurban Yetirmishli, Director General of Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (RCSS ANAS), Japanese experts Ryo Amano, manager of “Shinyei Kaisha”, and Masakazu Takahashi of “OYO International Corporation”, stressed the importance of boosting the bilateral cooperation.

The sides discussed ways how to expand relations, and conduct exchange of experience.

Yetirmishli highlighted the activities and international cooperation of RCSS, saying Azerbaijan was effectively cooperating with Japanese companies.

The Japanese experts praised work done by the Azerbaijani government in the field of seismology.

The experts also visited RCSS`s monitoring center.
