Azerbaijan Customs Committee elected deputy chair of WCO Europe region

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has been elected deputy chair of the World Customs Organization (WCO) European Region at the
121/122nd session of the Customs Co-operation Council (CCC) in Brussels.

Uruguay was elected to the same post for America and Caribbean countries, Niger for Western and Central African countries, Malawi for Eastern and South African countries, Morocco for North African, Near and Middle East countries, Australia for Asia-Pacific region.
Kunio Mikuriya once again has been elected the WCO Secretary General, while Josephine Feehily became WCO chair.

WCO next session will be held in Brussels, while the meeting of the Political Commission will be organized in Dublin, Ireland.
