Penitentiary Service of Azerbaijan starts to execute amnesty

Penitentiary Service of Azerbaijan has started execution of the amnesty, the department of public relations of the Prison Service told Trend.

According to paragraph 1.1 of the decision of the Parliament of Azerbaijan dated May 7, "Declaring an amnesty on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev", 18 inmates in correctional institutions of the Prison Service, were released from punishment on May 15.
