Fares for public transport reviewed - UPDATE

New decision of the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan doesn’t envisage changes on fares for public transport. Cost of service in the intercity routes remained the same – 0.2 AZN. But the group of numbering in suburb and inter-village routes was defined depending on the distance under current rates.

According to the previous decision, tariffs for bus services are following:

Intercity routes :
0.20 AZN

Suburb and inter-village routes:
1-15 km – 0.20 AZN
1-25 km – 0.25 AZN
1-30 km – 0.30 AZN
1-40 km – 0.40 AZN
1-45 km – 0.50 AZN
1-50 km – 0.70 AZN
Over 50 km – 0.80 AZN

Azerbaijan's Tariff Council kept the fares for public transport same as it was before - 0.2 AZN.
