Akkord Corporation commemorates All-National Leader Heydar Aliyev - PHOTOS

An event dedicated to the 90th jubilee of All-National Leader Heydar Aliyev has been held in Baku today at the initiative of the New Azerbaijan Party’s primary organization operating within Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC. Apart from broad participation of the Corporation officials and staff members, the event was attended by representatives of the Narimanov district branch of the New Azerbaijan Party and parliament deputies.

The event began with the photo exhibition, arranged on a high level by the Corporation and reflecting All-National Leader’s walk of life and work. Along with the interesting photos, the guests were familiarized with different books dedicated to Heydar Aliyev. The following part of the event continued in the assembly hall. Tamraz Agayev, Head of the Narimanov district branch of the New Azerbaijan Party, opened the meeting. After holding a minute of silence in honor of All-National Leader, the meeting participants watched the movie “High love” dedicated to Heydar Aliyev.

Addressing the event after demonstration of the movie, the parliament deputy Jala Aliyeva spoke about a peculiar role that All-National Leader played in the fate of our nation and the irreplaceable contribution he made to protecting and retaining of the Azeri language as the state one. Taking the floor, Ahmad Aliyev, Parliament Deputy and Rector of the Odlar Yurdu University, emphasized the selfless work Heydar Aliyev did for strengthening and developing an independent Republic of Azerbaijan.

Khagani Guluzade, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation, gave a broad speech at the event. He noted about All-National Leader’s standing abreast with the world known social-political figures who played an important role in history of the world peoples. The General Director spoke about the significance of the successful internal and external policy, set by the All-National Leader, and continued by the country President Ilham Aliyev, in dynamic development of our country.
The General Director noted that the Akkord staff stayed loyal to Heydar Aliyev’s legacy, and his successor Ilham Aliyev’s office policy aiming at welfare of our country. He said that the whole Corporation personnel numbering 5,000 people would vote for this policy in the forth coming presidential elections.

Party membership cards were presented during the event to new members of Akkord Corporation NAP (New Azerbaijan Party).  

At the end of the event dedicated to the jubilee of the great leader, the participants visited the Holy Alley for commemorating the All-National Leader. The wreath was put in front of the grave-memorial complex of Heydar Aliyev. The visitors also commemorated Zarifa Aliyeva, a famous ophthalmologist and academician, and laid flowers by her grave.
