Two European cities to be presented in Baku

Trading House of Lommer (Belgium) and Bergeijk (Netherlands) cities on Tuesday will be launched in Azerbaijan.

Lommel is one of the developed cities of Belgium and is known as energy city. The city also has an ancient history.

Bergeijk city is one of the leading cities in the world for technology. Head office of Phillips Company is situated in this city. The city also has successes in culture and art sphere. Many companies in the city support development of museums.

The opening ceremony will be held within the visit of mayors of both cities - Peter Vanvelthoven and Driek Van De Vondervoort to Azerbaijan. The event will be attended by several cultural and public figures, including representatives of state bodies.

The Trading House aims to develop existing cultural and economic ties between the countries, determine new cooperation spheres, establish useful partnership cooperation and involve tourists from Belgium and Netherlands.
