Judicial practice on mortgage loans summarized in Azerbaijan

The Supreme Court summarized the judicial practice on credit and banking cases by using the law on "Mortgage", the Supreme Court told Trend on Wednesday.

The judicial practice covers the court decisions on cases considered in the courts of first instance and appeal courts of the Republic in 2011.

The process of generalization started last year. Around 1,328 cases considered by the courts of the first instance were considered.

A bill of the Plenum of the Supreme Court, which was sent to the national courts, was prepared.

The bill will be discussed at the plenary session, to be held in the first half of the year, the Supreme Court said.

The mortgage lending in Azerbaijan began in March 2006 through the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund under the Central Bank.
