Azerbaijan to move to summer time

According to the State Committee on Standardization, Meteorology and Patent, at 04:00 a.m on March 31, clockwises will be moved an hour ahead, hence, winter time will be cancelled.

Pursuant to the “On the move to summer and winter time in Azerbaijan” Resolution of the Cabinet of the Ministers, dated March 17, 1997, clockwises are moved an hour ahead annualy on the last week of March for shifting to daylight saving time, and an hour back on the last week of October for moving to winter time.

The State Committee on Standardization, Meteorology and Patent of Azerbaijan stands for this decision.
