Novruz Holiday introduced in Pretoria

Azerbaijani Embassy in South Africa and Pretoria-based “Azerbaijani Friends” Society have organized an exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijan and Novruz holiday at the University of Pretoria.
According to Azerbaijani Embassy, photos reflecting Novruz traditions and ancient and modern Baku were on display at the exhibition.

The exposition also featured books on Azerbaijani history, culture, natural recourses, as well as 20 January tragedy, the Khojaly massacre, the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nogorno Karabakh conflict in the English language.

Teachers and students were handed over magazines, photos and maps on Azerbaijan and materials prepared by the “Azerbaijani Friends” Society on Novruz holiday.
Attendees watched a film on Azerbaijan at a one-week exhibition.
