Extraordinary meeting of UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee due in Baku

The last meeting of the of UNESCO Intergovernmental- Committee for Physical Education (CIGEPS) and Sport held on April 18-19, 2012 in Lausanne, Switzerland decided to hold an extraordinary meeting on March 13-15 in Baku.

According to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sports, within the extraordinary meeting member states of the CIGEPS and their Permanent Delegations to UNESCO will receive updated information on the preparations of the 5th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS V) and exchange ideas on ways to achieve maximum impact of the Conference.

The event will bring together more than 50 representatives.
