US Transportation Commander remarks Azerbaijan`s importance

The United States Transportation Commander, General William M. Fraser has stressed the role of Azerbaijan on transportation of cargo to Afghanistan in the context of peacekeeping operations, at the hearings of United States House of Representatives.

The hearings brought together officials of United States Armed Forces, as well as Special Operations and Transportations Commands.

He also noted the relevant rules were implemented for multimodal transportations, after successful direct transportation of cargo via the Azerbaijan`s airspace.
