
The proposals for conclusion of international agreements in the field of pensions are currently being discussed among Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Estonia, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus Valery Kovalkov said on the online conference held on the sites of BELTA Agency and the Ministry.
The conference received a lot of questions, not only from people in Belarus, but also from abroad on “international” pensions.
V. Kovalkov noted that, under Article 1 of the Law “On Pension Provision”, the right to a pension in Belarus have the citizens (regardless of nationality) residing in the country. “Pension for citizens with the experience in Belarus and living abroad, are granted on the rules established by international agreements in social sphere”, he stressed.
