Azerbaijan delivers three fishermen to Iran arrested in Caspian Sea

Three Iranian fishermen detained in January 2013 by Azerbaijani border guards were handed over to the Iranian side on Feb.26, spokesman of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan Mohammad Ayatollahi told Trend.

According to Ayatollahi, yesterday the fishermen were handed over to the Iranian authorities at the Astara border checkpoint.

In January 2013, the Azerbaijani border guards detained three Iranian fishermen, who crossed the maritime border by mistake during a storm, Ayatollahi said.
