Minister of agriculture to join exhibition in Paris

Azerbaijani agriculture minister Ismet Abbasov left for France to take part in the fiftieth international agricultural exhibition in Paris from February 23 to March 3, the Agriculture Ministry said on Monday.

According to the report, Abbasov visited the province of Lower Normandy during the visit. He will familiarize himself with the well-known Camembert's cheese production plant. He will meet with Secretary General of the World Organization for Animal Health, Bernard Vallat, Secretary General of the European Plant Protection Organization Ringolds Arnitis, as well as Secretary General of the International Organization of Viticulture & Winemaking Federico Castellucci.

The minister will also take part in the event at the Cultural Center of the Azerbaijani Embassy in France dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy, as well as a number of other activities.
