Azerbaijan’s monthly wage of hired workers increased in January

Average monthly wage of the hired workers increased 14.9% to reach AZN 599.1 in January in Azerbaijan.
The number of hired workers increased 4.8 % and hit 173.3 thousand in 2012.

According to the State Statistical Committee, some 36.5 thousand of hired workers are employed in the mining sector, 83.6 thousand in processing, 29.6 thousand in production of electrical energy, gas and steam, 23.6 thousand in the field of water supply, waste recycling and refining.

The salary of the hired workers in private sector increased 11.8 % to reach AZN 692.7.
