Azerbaijan sends financial aid to hurricane-hit Cuba

Azerbaijan has provided $49,000 to Cuba in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy which hit the south-east of the country.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Cuba Agshin Mehdiyev visited the country`s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investments on the occasion.

The Azerbaijani diplomat hailed the relations between the two countries, saying they were developing particularly in the political area.
Cuban officials thanked the Azerbaijani government for the assistance.
