Water of Caspian Sea to be drinkable

A plant for desalination of sea water in Azerbaijan is working in a test mode, at present.
 
Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseynqulu Bagirov told.
 
According to him, in the plant, which meets all modern standards, water is purified for irrigation. Currently, some of the water it is planned to use for drinking.
 
"Sea water is cleaned of minerals and then minerals useful for human body is added to it, as a result we get high-quality water” Minister said.
 At the moment, the plant is working in a test mode for 4-5 hours a day. No problems is observed in he plant, Bagirov told.
