UNESCO, Azerbaijan sign document on holding extraordinary meeting in Baku

UNESCO and Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Youth and Sports have signed an agreement to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sport in Baku on March 13-15.
The signing ceremony was attended by Azeri Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ismayil Ismayilov, Senior Advisor of International Relations Department of the Ministry Atif Gambarov, members of the Azeri delegation to UNESCO Anar Karimov and Eldar Mammadov, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information Eric Falt and for social and humanitarian sciences Maria del Pilar Alvarez.

Falt thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports for supporting the organization of the Intergovernmental Committee meeting in Baku.
Ismayilov praised UNESCO`s projects in Azerbaijan.
