Parliament to discuss amendment to law on freedom of religion

The parliament of Azerbaijan will discuss a bill “On Making Amendments to the Law on the Freedom of Religion”.

According to chairperson of the parliament`s human rights committee Rabiyat Aslanova, the amendments will apply to religious literature.

“The citizens and religious organizations will have right to use only those religious books which were approved and labeled by appropriate state authorities.”
