
Baku has hosted a meeting of the organizing committee of the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue to be held on May 29-June 1, 2013.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Minister Abulfaz Garayev said President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree to organized the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Azerbaijan biannually.
Speaking about the importance of the forum, the minister said the event would bring together more than 1000 representatives from UNESCO, ISESCO, UN Alliance of Civilizations, World Tourism Organization, the Council of Europe and the North-South Center of the Council of Europe. The forum will feature more than 10 meetings, as well as a conference of the East-West Ministers attended by the ministers of culture and tourism.
The meeting of the organizing committee focused on the activities of the international working group, preparatory works, program and conception of the forum.
