City Mayor: Ganja has enough legal basis and potential to be Europe's Youth Capital

Ganja - Azerbaijan`s Youth Capital for 2012 is determined to be “Europe`s Youth Capital (EYC) for 2016.

The session held on this occasion was attended by youth representatives from Italy, Romania, Greece, Netherlands, Serbia and Croatia.

Elmar Valiyev, Mayor of Ganja said the city has enough legal basis and potential to succeed in the competition.

It will be challenging to win the competition amongst the 20 strong participant-countries, said youth representatives.

Young generation must be active to win EYC which will introduce the city`s cultural, economic, social, public and political life to the world during a year.
