Quake hit people in Zagatala receive compensation

In Azerbaijan's Zagatala region begun to disburse compensation to earthquake affected people to repair homes, deputy head of the regional executive body, chairman of the regional comission on emergency Elman Ramazanov said.

According to him, the compensation will be paid to about 2,900 families that received opinion of the Commission of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on restoration.

Ramazanov noted that the amount of compensation is determined in accordance with the area of the houses of people affected by the earthquake. Thus, the house area of ??100 sq.m. will receive 4000 manats to 150 sq.m. - 5000 AZN, more than 200 sq.m. - 7,000 manat.

Ramazanov said that compensation is listed in all branches of LLC "Azerpocht" and distributed to the population under the control of local bodies of executive power.
