Weather is expected to cool down

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported that in Baku and Absheron peninsula mutable cloudy weather is going to overcast and be chiefly rainless along with the fog in some places in the morning and evening. Soft south-western wind will be followed by interruptedly strengthening north-western wind in the second half of the day.. The temperature will be +4-7C at night, +13-18C in the afternoon.

As to the regions of Azerbaijan, condition of weather is expected to be mostly dry, but foggy in several places at night and in the morning. Western wind will blow and occasionally intensify .
The temperature will be +3-8C at night, +12-17C in the afternoon, while up to +20C in some areas, from -4C to +1C in the mountains at night, +5-10C and about +12C in some areas in the afternoon.

Preliminary notification on weather change
Condition of weather is expected to change after a long-term anomalous weather in the country territory. The temperature will gradually decrease about 5-8 degrees compared to previous days. Rainfall will be observed in some regions of the Republic on January 27 evening and from the night of January 28 to 29 until February 2, and it will change into sleet, while snow in mountainous and foothills regions.
