Several people attempt to hold another protest in Ismayilli

A small group of Ismayilli region residents have again attempted to hold a protest, first deputy head of Ismayilli region executive power Rafael Ahmadov told Trend today. He said the rally participants pelted police with stones.

The rally was eventually broken up, he said.

An incident occurred in Ismayilli at 21:30. As a result, the Chirag hotel and four different passenger cars were burnt. Two people were arrested and four injured.

The city of Ismayilli is in the north-east of Azerbaijan, 174 kilometres away from Baku.
