It is planned to begin preserving bones in a glass box in Guba burial in March 2013. This testifies to the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in 1918, head of the Guba expedition on genocide, leading researcher at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences Gahraman Agayev told Trend today.

He added that before the bones are placed under glass, they will be cleared. These operations will be completed in the near future. Visitors will be able to see them soon.

Besides the burial, the Genocide Memorial Complex is planned to be commissioned in Guba. The complex is located at 100-120 meters from the burial.

Guba burial, having great historical significance for Azerbaijan, was found on April 1, 2007. It testifies to the genocide committed by Armenians in 1918 against Azerbaijanis. The first well in the burial place was destroyed in 2007-2008 due to lack of proper care.
