Snow to intensify in Azerbaijani regions

The weather changed, while an intensive snow was observed in northern and western regions of Republic in the evening on January 8 and at night and in this morning . Tomorrow, more deteriorated, frosty weather condition is going to be accompained by snow which will intensify in several regions, and the roads to ice up.

The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that in Baku and Absheron peninsula  cold weather condition is going to continue along with an intermittent snow. Strong north-western wind will blow.  The temperature will be from -2 C to +1 C at night and in the afternoon.

It is expected to interruptedly snow. Western wind will intensify off and on. The temperature will be 0-5 C at night, +0-5 C in the afternoon, while 7-12 degrees of frost in the mountains at night, 15-20 in the highlands, and 0-5 C in the afternoon.
