Azerbaijan sees improvement in Mother & Baby care quality

 Healthcare Ministry of Azerbaijan continues organizing events towards enhancing quality of healthcare services for mothers and babies.

If the indicator of death rate in 2003 for Azerbaijan was 16,7 per thousand, as a result of refinement operations in 2012 it have decreased to 10,8, while mother death coefficient have decreased from 18,5 to 14,9, Press Office of the Ministry said.

Azerbaijan holds vaccination schedules against 10 diseases protecting infants from the infections. This way the country secures epidemic stability.
