Azerbaijan to join NATO event in Brussels

According to the news service for the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan, under the program of military cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani servicemen will attend a meeting of working groups within the VERITY program which is due in Brussels from 15 to 19 January.

VERITY system went into effect in March 1994. Among the participating nations, the system helps verification agency staffs track the annual data exchange of national military force holdings; notifications of reduction events; results of reductions; and inspection information regarding the time, place, and type of inspection. By mid-1994, the VERITY database included inspection reports from all NATO nations, including the Eastern European nations.
