Snowy weather expected in Azerbaijan

In Baku and Absheron peninsula, precipitations are going to cease little by little and the weather to be mainly rainless from the second half of the day. Soft northern wind will blow. The temperature will be 0-2C at night, +1-5C in the afternoon.

Today, the weather is forecasted to be wet off and on, while sleety and snowy in some areas, and the rainfalls to gradually discontinue beginning from western regions and the weather to be mostly dry in most of the regions.

The temperature will be frosty with 0-5 degrees at night, +2-7 C in the afternoon, while 5-10 degrees of frost in mountains, 13-18 in high mountainous areas and from 3 degrees of frost to +2 C in the afternoon.

The weather is going to be predominantly rainless form the second half of December 31 to January 1, the Ecology and Natural Resources  Ministry reported.
