Weather forecast for holidays announced

.The initial weather forecast in Azerbaijan has been made public for the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.


According to the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources from the night of December 30 to 31 in Baku and Absheron peninsula, the weather is expected to be ocassionally rainy, sleety in some places while the rainfall to discontinue in the second half of the day . Interruptedly intensifying north-western wind will become gentle towards the evening.

Chiefly rainlesss weather is predicted in the evening of December 31, from the night of December 31 to January 1 and in the course of January 1.  The temperature will be +1-3 C in the evening, 0-2 degrees of frost at night,  +3-8 C in the afternoon.
