Snow to cover Baku

According to the previous information of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, from the evening of December 13 to the morning of December 14, the weather condition have more detoriorated, rain fell along with sleet and snow in some places, while became intensive and strong in several areas.

Tomorrow, cloudy weather is predicted to dominate along with rainfall chiefly in the morning and evening and sleete. Occasionally intensifying north-eastern wind will waft.  The temperature will be close to 0 at night, +1-4 C in the afternoon.

As for the regions the weather will be intermittently wet, while some places are going to meet sleet and snow, and mist to show itself in the morning. Eastern wind will blow, will intensify off and on.  The temperature will be from 2 degrees of frost to +3 C at night, +3-8 C in the afternoon, while 8-13 degrees of frost in the mountains at night, 15-20 in high mountainous areas and 1-6 in the afternoon.

On Dec. 18, the weather is expected to be cold.  The temperature will drop up to 0 and -2 at night from December 15 to 16 and 16 to 17 in Baku and Absheron peninsula.

From 2 degrees of frost to +3?C is predicted in the lowland regions of the Republic, and 8-13 degrees of frost in mountainous regions and 15-20 degrees in high mountaionus areas. The weather is going to be wet off and on along with sleet and snow.

Intermittent rain in Baku and Absheron peninsula is forecasted to change into sleete and snow in comperatively high areas. Ocassionally strengthening north-eastern wind will blow from December 14 to 16.
