
Rector of the Moscow State University`s Baku branch, Nargiz Pashayeva has been awarded the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry`s gold order for services.
The decision was adopted on Thursday by the Brussels-based Senate of European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry.
The order is given to those who have special services and professionalism in their activities.
Nargiz Pashaeva was born in Baku into a intellectual family. In 1983 she graduated from the Baku State University`s (BSU) department of philology. She worked as BSU`s prorector on international relations. She has been the rector of the Moscow State University`s Baku branch since 2008.
Nargiz Pashayeva is artistic director of “UNS” creative scene, member of board of the charitable foundation “Friends of Azerbaijan Culture”, editor of the magazine “Azerbaijan-heritage”, and co-chairperson of the England-Azerbaijan Society.
