Weather is expected to get cold in Baku

The weather will be cold and frosty on Dec.14-18, the temperature will drop 8-10C in the country. The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported that today, the temperature will be 4-6 C at night and in the morning, 1-3 C in the second half of the day in Baku and Absheron peninsula. On the night of December 15-16 and 16-17 the temperature will be 0- -2 C at night.

The temperature will be 2- -3 C in Lowland regions, -8- -13 C in mountainous regions and -15- -20 C in the high mountainous areas. It will be occasionally raining, sleet and snow are expected.

 Sleet is expected in Baku and Absheron peninsula and snow is also expected in high areas. The north-east wind will blow and intensify on December 14-15.
