Azerbaijan joins session of European Student Union

Representatives of Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations` Union (ASYOU) have attended the 63rd session of European Students Union in the Maltese capital of Valletta.

The delegation included Togrul Mammadli, ASYOU international affairs department director, Polad Muradli, an employee of the department, and Togrul Niyazli, chairman of the student organization the Public Administration Academy under the Azerbaijani President.

The Azerbaijani representatives highlighted the country`s youth policy priorities. They said the Azerbaijani and European youth came together in Baku as part of different projects. They spoke of Univision song contest among universities, which had been held for the first time in Azerbaijan`s capital this year supported by Youth and Sports Ministry.

The Azeri delegates stressed the importance of information exchange between ASYOU and European student organizations. The delegation also participated in a gala dinner hosted by Malta`s President George Abela in honor of the session participants.
