The Azerbaijani Embassy in Chisinau has taken part in the Winter Charity Bazaar, a fundraising event organized annually by  International Women`s Club of Moldova.

“The 16t International Winter Charity Bazaar was attended by the majority of embassies and international organizations accredited in Moldova,” the Azerbaijani Embassy said in a statement.
Azerbaijan`s pavilion at the Bazaar was arranged by Natavan Makili-Aliyeva, the spouse of the Ambassador, with wives of the Embassy staffers actively involved in designing the pavilion.
“Large-scaled preparatory work has been done during the year to participate in the event,” the Embassy said.

The pavilion features Azerbaijani national souvenirs and handmade gifts, a variety of dishes and sweets of the national cuisine, as well as various sorts of the Azeri traditional tea.
Several editions of “Baku” magazine, Azerbaijan-related CDs and DVDs, books, brochures and magazines were also available in the pavilion.

Azerbaijan`s pavilion was visited by Margarita Timofti, the first lady of Moldova, Moldovan ministers, diplomats, the country`s public figures, and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

The visitors tasted dolma, qutab and the Azerbaijani sweets and traditional tea.
It was the second time the Azerbaijani Embassy participated in the Winter Charity Bazaar.
