Caucasus religious leaders condemn ethnic separatism

Caucasus religious leaders consider it important to preserve Islamic values to ensure peace and stability in the Caucasus. Religious leaders and organizations, as well as religious figures, play a key role, the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus said in Baku today.

Religious figures have condemned ethnic separatism and religious discrimination. They have also stressed the need of demonstrating the spiritual and religious unity to ensure peace and stability in the region and the world, the Caucasian Muslims Office said today. The meeting was held with the participation of religious leaders of the Caucasus peoples led by head of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade.
