Azerbaijan, Norway eye cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov has met Norwegian ambassador Erling Skjønsberg and President for Statoil in the country Lars Troen Sorensen.

Mr. Heydarov highlighted the structure and activity of the Ministry and stressed importance of the cooperation with Norway`s relevant companies on emergency situations management, as well as the oil spill area.

Erling Skjønsberg, in turn, noted that there were wide opportunities for cooperation of the relevant bodies of both countries and stressed necessity of the activity in the following direction.
They exchanged views on experience and specialists` exchanging between the two countries, as well as organization of the reciprocal visits and issues of mutual interest.
