Quake jolts Balakan region

An earthquake measuring 2.0 on the Richter scale took place in Balakan region of Azerbaijan on Friday, the Republican Seismology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan told Trend.

Tremors were recorded in Balakan at 04:48 by local time.

No casualties reported.
