Azerbaijan is a part of broader participation at the ITU and the Internet Governance Forum will allow Azerbaijan to advance its broadband internet ambitions, U.S. ambassador to the World Conference on International Telecommunications, Terry Kramer, who leads the US delegation to the Internet Governance Forum in Azerbaijan, told at a press conference today.

He said that the Internet Governance Forum is important for two reasons: types of issues discussed, including the internet and telecommunications, and the approaches to dealing with the issues and fundamental philosophies.
