Azerbaijan to be partner of int'l tourism exhibition

International Tourist Exhibition "ITB Berlin 2013" in which Azerbaijan will act as Convention & Culture Partner, will be held in the German capital, Berlin on March 6-10, 2013.

Deputy head of the department of tourism Rauf Pashayev and sector head of tourism promotion and marketing Vugar Shihammedov paid a visit to Berlin on October 16-19 in order to carry out the preparatory work related to the participation of the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the exhibition, the ministry said on Wednesday.

Azerbaijan will be represented by main stand with area of ??112 square meters, as well as ecotourism stand - 21 square meter and culture stand- 33 square meters.

A forum will be held in the frame of the forum. Presentation of tourism potential of Azerbaijan will be held in the frame of the forum.
