Azerbaijan joins meeting of UN`s 3rd Committee on Rights of Child

Representative of the World Union of Azerbaijani Youth Nazim Isgandarov has made a report at the United Nations` Third Committee on the Rights of the Child in New York.

Isgandarov`s report on topical problems faced by children, such as hunger, as well as child healthcare and education. He also highlighted the Azerbaijani government`s policy to ensure high quality healthcare services and education for children. Isgandarov also spoke of a 2005-2009 State Program on education of children in need of special care.
