'Azerbaijan`s laws on freedom of religion taken from experience of secular states'

Chairperson of the parliament`s Committee on Human Rights Rabiyyat Aslanova has said building secular government is the Azerbaijani people`s major success.

“Azerbaijan`s laws on freedom of religion are taken from the experience of secular states. The law of the Azerbaijan Republic on the Freedom of Religion is also based on the experience of the developed countries.”

“Regulating government-religion relations on constitutional grounds is one of the key issues ensuring secularity,” said Aslanova.
