Law enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan, Turkey eye coop

 Azerbaijan and Turkey have today discussed prospects for developing the cooperation between their law enforcement authorities as Azeri minister of internal affairs Ramil Usubov met incoming Turkish ambassador Ismail Alper Coskun.

Usubov said Azerbaijan placed a particular emphasis on its cooperation with Turkish law enforcement bodies.

He praised the contribution of the Turkish Armed Forces and Jandarma (Gendarme) Commando to building the Internal Troops of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Internal Affairs. Alper Coskun praised Azerbaijan`s development.

He said he would contribute to expanding the relations between the two nations during his tenure in Baku.
