Azerbaijan, Latvia boost coop

Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Latvian Ministry of Culture have signed a program of cooperation for 2012-2014, the website of Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism reported on Wednesday.

The document was signed in the framework of Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev's visit to Latvia.

The meeting of Abulfaz Garayev with Latvian Minister of Culture Zaneta Jaunzeme-Grende. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Latvia Elman Zeynalov and other officials took part in the meeting.

The cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia was discussed at the meeting, the current state of relations was highly appreciated, the importance of broadening bilateral relations was emphasized.

The signing ceremony took place after the meeting.

The meeting of Latvian Economy Minister Daniels Pav?uts and introduction to Riga Museum of Art are planned within the visit.
