New judge appointed in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani parliament has approved the candidacy of Mahir Muradov as a new Constitutional Court judge on the basis of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decision.

Muradov has been a prosecutor of the Nizami district since 2004.

In 2006, he was awarded with the medal "For Distinguished Public Service."
