Control over Azersu's construction work strengthened

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision on the establishment of a directory of construction areas under the state owned Azersu Company (national water operator in Azerbaijan).

This was said in a report, published on Tuesday on the Cabinet of Ministers website.

The decision was made in order to provide control over construction works implemented by the company in accordance with previously approved project documents, to increase management effectiveness of funds from the state budget and other sources, as well as to operatively settle issues regarding construction.

The decision comes into effect on the day of signing, October 8.
