Construction of modern metro station underway – PHOTOS

The works is underway on the construction of the Memar Ajami-2metro station,  Baku Metro reported.  

According to the report, the length of the platform will be 145 meters and width -  about 11 meters. Four elevators, 14 escalators and platform systematic doors (PSD) will be installed here. The main objective of these doors - to ensure the safety of passengers and suppress falls of people on the subway tracks.

 
Initially, five cars, which will be equipped with air conditioning will operate at the station. Then, the number of passenger cars will be increased to 7. Commissioning of the station Memar Ajami-2 is planned in late 2013.
