Azerbaijan delegation visits Sweden

Chairperson of State Committee on Problems of Family, Women and Children Hijran Huseynova and her accompanied delegation visited Sweden.

During the visit, the delegation will participate in the round table discussions on the subject “Role of women in democratic states” in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Parliament of Sweden. A seminar on a role of women in politics, education, healthcare and private sector will take place in Stockholm mayor`s office.

Azerbaijani delegation also arranged a reception with participation of businesswomen, representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MPs, member of Nobel family, representatives of Diaspora organizations.

Huseynova presented a medal to Margaret Ling-Banerus - Chairperson of Swedish non-governmental organization “Women and democracy,” co-chairperson of Azerbaijani-Swedish Women Council.
